The short version
We collect what is needed to sell you the plugin and to know which computers a key is on. Nothing else. No analytics, no tracking, no selling of data, no crash reports.
When you buy
Stripe handles the payment. We receive your email address and Stripe's identifiers for the purchase (a session id, a customer id and a payment id). We never see your card number. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.
When you activate the plugin
The plugin sends exactly these five things to our server, and nothing else:
- your license key,
- a hash (a one-way fingerprint) of an identifier of your computer, so we can count computers; the raw identifier never leaves your machine,
- your computer's name, so you can tell your computers apart on the account page,
- the plugin's version number,
- the name of your operating system (Windows or macOS).
The same five things are sent when the plugin re-confirms your key, at most once every 30 days and only when you are online. Deactivating sends the key and the computer hash.
When the plugin checks for updates
It asks our server for the latest version number. That request carries no key, no identifier and no data about you.
What we do not do
- No analytics or usage tracking, in the plugin or on this website.
- No third-party scripts on this website.
- No crash reports.
- No selling or sharing of your data, ever.
Who processes the data
- Stripe (payments): your email and payment details.
- Cloudflare (our servers and database): the license records above.
- Resend (email delivery): your email address and the two emails we send: your key, and sign-in links.
- Google (only if you choose "Sign in with Google"): Google tells us the email address of the account you picked, nothing else. Google's own privacy policy covers what Google keeps.
How long we keep it
For as long as your license exists, because the license is the record. Email us to delete your account and its data; the key stops working when we do.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to support@praxisplugins.com from the email you bought with.
Cookies
One cookie, only on the account page, only after you sign in: it keeps you signed in for 30 days. Nothing else.
